Hello all!

Most important news first. Slipknot haven’t made a statement to the press regarding their beef with us. We don’t know whether that’s good news or bad news. However, Stephen (our guitarist) was furious after hearing the rumour that Joey Jordison said he was better at throwing. In his anger, he threw an entire barrel of melons across the M25 (widthways not lengthways, obviously) and was successful. We are challenging Joey to equal or better this before our next blog or, by default, all Slipknot fans must rid themselves of all slipknot albums and merchandise and replace them with the equivalent in Codes In The Clouds memorabilia. Failure to do so will result in a lawsuit, stern telling off, complaining to our friends, complaining to our diaries, complaining in our own brains or not being thought of at all. If any of the ‘maggots’ want to take that risk, then that’s up to them.

SHOW NEWS!

So, from going from the last blog which had very little in the way of announcements, we now have a bunch of announcements! First of all, we have a few UK shows lined up, 2 very last minute ones too! This week we are playing at Proud Galleries in Camden, London (04/04) and then we head up to Nottingham to headline the Fono Festival (05/04) which will be a really cool day exploring the relationship between sound and art.

These are our first shows this year, at which we’ll be showcasing a couple of brand new songs.

In June we’re playing in Winchester for the first time ever, we hear it’s lovely there. After all, the pub in Shaun Of The Dead is named after that place, so it can’t be too shabby, right? We’ll be playing at The Railway all-dayer on 03/06 supporting Shels* who are playing their first UK show in 3 years.

In Summary:

4/4/12 - London, Camden Proud Galleries
5/4/12 - Nottingham, Malt Cross

3/6/12 - Winchester, The Railways (All-dayer w/ Shels*, Caretaker and many more!)

Also, for those of you who haven’t seen, we’re featured at the beginning of this trailer for Mark Ruffalo’s movie Sympathy For Delicious starring Mark Ruffalo, Juliet Lewis and Orlando Bloom. The song featured is ‘The Distance Between Us’ which is the last song from our first album, ‘Paper Canyon’.

Hope everyone is well! We’re getting busier and busier, hopefully will have either a brand new E.P or Album for you guys at the end of the year which we’ll tour the hell out of, as we’re really missing being on the road.

Love, cuddles and awkward silences,
